Rescheduled: Booms & Blooms, September 3, 2016

Due to heavy rain on July 2, we rescheduled Booms & Blooms to take place on Saturday, September 3, 2016 (the rain date is Sunday, September 4, but let's hope we don't need that). Join us for live music, kids' activities, fireworks and more. See the Booms & Blooms Festival schedule

Festival of Butterflies, Aug. 5-7 and 12-14, 2016

Each August Powell Gardens transforms the 2,500-square-foot conservatory into a temporary butterfly house, filled to the brim with gorgeous blooms and hundreds of tropical butterflies.

And that's just the beginning! Festival days are packed with hands-on fun. Highlights include a native butterfly breezeway by Master Gardeners, Monarch Watch and the Idalia Society, kids' crafts, storytelling, a costume parade, a butterfly catch-and-release area and much more. Learn more.

Harvest Celebration and Antique Tractor, Engine and Equipment Show, Oct. 1-2, 2016

The first weekend of October brings a return to Powell Gardens' agricultural roots with a festival that celebrates the best of the harvest season. The festival includes an exhibit of antique tractors, engines, farm machinery and—new for 2016—vintage lawn tractors, a parade of power and tractor-driving skills games.

Along with the tractors and related exhibits, visitors will find plenty of other fall fun, including pumpkin painting, a pedal tractor pull for kids and outdoor family games. See the details here

GLOW: A Jack-O-Lantern Festival, Oct. 14-15, 2016

We celebrated "Halloween at the Movies" during our first-ever Jack-O-Lantern Festival in 2014. Guests walked the Jack-O-Lantern trail to see scenes created with more than 700 pumpkins in the region's largest display. Hayrides, live haunts, pumpkin painting and more will make this a Halloween tradition the entire family will enjoy. Learn more.

Did you know? Festival admission is $12/adults, $10/seniors and $5/children ages 5-12. Festival admission includes free parking, admission to exhibits and free trolley rides.
